St. George

Wow, I cant belive its already July! We just got back from our fun vacation for the summer. We went down to St. George with some friends and it was so fun! I got to see a good friend of mine and it was so great to see her before she leaves on her mission! It was definatley summer there at about 102 HOT! It was nice though because we had a pool and volleyball to play. We all decided to go on a hike one day and didnt realize how hot it was and we hiked through the desert for 7 miles total and half through deep sand, it was called 3 ponds and we get to the end where the ponds are supposed to be and there was nothing there. The map didnt say anything about spring is the only time you'll see the 3 ponds! haha it was quite the adventure! It was really fun though! The next day we went to Zions national park! we hiked up angles landing! at the bottom looking up i was completley terrified! People made it seem alot scarier and harder then it was but we made it to the top and what a great feeling that was! but never go hiking in the middle of the day!!! you'll get sick and through up...not fun!!( well maybe that only happens to me, of course)!!

This was our first hike 3 ponds, beautiful red sand stone everywhere!

This was at the bottom of angles landing, it was 2 1/2 miles took 4 hours, the first mile was just straight up switchbacks then the last 1/2 was chaines that you have to hold onto and cliffs on each side!! crazy! people have even died hiking this!

VEGAS!!! we went to Vegas for the day and it was sooo fun!!! We went to the outlets and found some geat deals! if you know dane, he LOVES lacoste so this is us under the sign! then he wanted to eat at the espn zone for dinner and it was closed! so thats our sad faces!!! haha we walked around and saw all the cool buldings and fun stuff! definatley a different place! but people watching was great!! we sat and watched the water show and that was fun!

We went to the st george temple one night and that was sooo fun! so many stories and alot of history to it! that was really neat! and the highlight of the trip! we found a cute red telepone booth!! haha and couldnt resist taking some pics!

Over all it was so fun!! we are glad to be back and into the swing of things! but great trip! we got to drive there and back and this is us on our road trip! soo fun!!! we got to talk and sing to songs! it was a long drive but soo worth it!!
