So on my search to find some new hobbies i decided to learn how to sew! i was so envious of my friends that made quilts especially cute jean ones for picnics and in my case LOTS of football games! thanks to michelle she helped me get started and my mom taught me how do sew it all together! it was a great project that im glad i got to spend time with my mother learning a new skill. i am so proud of my self for finishing it, especially within a month! haha
its a good full size and instead of getting fabric for the back i went and got a sheet at walmart for cheap!

Thanks again to michelle for the great idea of putting a name on it

so there it is my latest hobby i learned to do!

Well on to the next project....hmmm if you have any ideas let me know!?? im sad i missed out this year on a garden. i found out too late how to do those square foot gardens, but next year im going to learn how to garden!

i was so excited to get into reading these last couple months! i joined a book club! i know i joined a book club and actually finished the books and have loved the books so far! i just finished reading a book called Left to Tell by a Rwanda survivor and it was so inspirational, i loved it! it made me think i have nothing to ever complain about or i never have an excuse to hold grudges and not be able to forgive others! she was so close to God was able to forgive the people that murdered her family!! so amazing! im just finishing the hunger games series which are pretty entertaining kinda different but good!

i cant believe its been just about 8 months since dane and i have been married and the time just keeps flying by! i am so grateful for him and all he does for our family! He is LOVING coaching and cant wait to be able to work his way up and be a teacher! He is getting there, almost!! He has tons of homework but we are so glad that it will all pay off someday! right?! he is so great and loves to help with dinner and does great to keep things cleaned! it was so great to have him last week when i thought things couldn't get worse, i was so sick all week with a bad cold and the flu. he was right there making sure i was ok, even though he had games and lots of school and work he was so great to check in on me! i know it sounds silly but he is so wonderful! and after hearing President Monsons talk on Gratitude "attitude with gratitude" i was thinking i take Dane for granted sometimes and start expecting him to do things when i need to take a step back and love and be grateful for the time i do get with him and all he does for me when he is so busy! i LOVE him!

we are so excited for fall time and for the cooler air! so thankful for family and friends and the great skills hobbies we get to learn!
